Situation – Chlorophylle sells toilet commodes for use in situations such as houses, cabins, and Tiny houses.
They also have toilet buildings for rent for use in functions and outdoor festivals.
Operation – The system is a simple bucket to composting area system where the contents are covered by wood shavings and transferred to a composting area or plastic storage container when full.
Capacity – As a bucket transfer system, the capacity can be unlimited, but more suitable for light to medium use.
Design – The system is a simple bucket transfer to a separate composting area. The commodes are hand built wood with a receptacle for storage of wood shavings for cover material.
Construction – The commodes and toilet buildings are made of solid wood using local wood species (cypress from Provence, larch, Douglas fir, Ventoux cedar) resistant to outdoor use and PEFC certified. The wood is covered with a pore filler (water-based acrylic varnish) then with 2 layers of natural hard oil, so liquids do not penetrate.
The accessories such as buckets and lids are made of durable stainless steel and solid plastic.
